Sunday Night Fellowship

At Trinity, we delight in God’s superabundant goodness shown to us in warm-hearted fellowship, delicious food, and good wine. It is a regular part of our life together to sit at table over locally made cheese, homemade bread, and quality wine while we enjoy talking and laughing with one another, discussing matters of faith and life, and recounting God’s abiding grace and goodness.

If you’re visiting, there will a seat at the table and a glass waiting for you! If wine isn’t for you, there are plenty of other good things to receive and enjoy with thanksgiving.

You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man’s heart.
— Psalm 104:14-15
In these words we are taught, that God not only provides for men’s necessity, and bestows upon them as much as is sufficient for the ordinary purposes of life, but that in his goodness he deals still more bountifully with them by cheering their hearts with wine…Nature would certainly be satisfied with water to drink; and therefore the addition of wine is owing to God’s superabundant liberality.
— John Calvin
