Forming the Faithful

Young adults are leaving the church at an alarming rate. This is happening for a number of reasons, but one contributing cause is young people grow up in the church without ever developing formative relationships with others.

Forming the Faithful is a group for kids ages 3-12 meant to teach them that the church is a multi-generational community; that it’s for the young and old and everyone in-between. We want to see kids grounded in the gospel and in the fellowship of believers.

Forming the Faithful meets monthly. Times together include an activity and devotional. Teens and adults work together to lead and spend time with the children. The goal is to teach the coming generations about Jesus and to form lasting relationships within the household of faith.

Children’s Sunday school

Children are a vital part of the covenant community at Trinity Church. As a church, we want to help parents root their children in the truths of Scripture. We support parents by providing children's classes designed to nurture and instruct our children in the faith.

We utilize the Great Commission Publications for our Sunday School curriculum.

While Sunday School is a great aid in helping parents raise their children in the Lord, we believe the bulk of instruction will take place within the home. Therefore, we not only want to help directly in the instruction of children, but Trinity also wants to equip parents. We earnestly desire to see families at home worshiping, learning, and praying together.

Jesus’ Kids

When: Sunday Evenings 6-7 PM (except for the first Sunday of the month).

What: Kids ages 4-10 meet for a Bible lesson, crafts, activities, and storytelling. Jesus’ Kids helps children not only learning the gospel with their peers, but also gives them time with older leaders who love them and build relationships.

Leaders regularly incorporate missions times to teach the children about the Great Commission and the missionaries we support around the world.
